Announcing the 2018 Spring Workshop
Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild welcomes Betty Vera for our Spring Workshop.
More than just Black and White: Weaving Beautifully with Neutrals
April 14-16, 2018 9am-5pm
This is a three-day workshop starting on Saturday and concluding on Monday afternoon.
Workshop registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, with non-Guild members welcome on a space-available basis. Non-member payments do not include membership in the guild.
Cancellation Policy: Registration for workshops is non-refundable. Please email the Workshop Chair if you find you are not able to attend and they will notify you of any persons on the wait-list who may be able to take over your registration.
After you register, you will be contacted to determine if you will use your own loom (table or portable floor looms not exceeding 26″) or if you would like to use a Guild loom. When available, information specific to the workshop will be sent to you.
Persons using Guild looms will have access to them in the week preceding and following the workshop. This will allow you to warp your loom and weave off your project.
About the Instructor: Betty Vera has taught at Montclair State University, the Fashion Institute of Technology, and conferences and guilds nationwide. Her work has appeared in American Craft, Fiberarts, Shuttle Spindle & Dyepot, and Surface Design, and Carol K. Russell’s book Fiber Art Today.
