a message from our president

Welcome to Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild, a vibrant organization dedicated to fostering and supporting weaving and other fiber related arts. We offer meetings, programs, exhibits, workshops, classes, and demonstrations at community events.

As conditions with the pandemic seem to be improving, we are gradually reinstating some of our face-to-face activities. In-person weaving classes will resume in June, but we will not return to in-person meetings until sometime in the fall. Resuming in-person meetings will depend on sustained improvement with the status of the pandemic. Until it is clear that larger in-person meetings will be safe, we will continue to utilize Zoom to stay connected with our members and visitors. We hope to continue to offer Zoom for remote access to meetings and events even after we fully resume meeting in-person.

We welcome visitors to our meetings, held each month except for July, August, and December. If you are interested in attending, please send an email to and request the Zoom link. Members will receive the link in their Fiber Focus newsletter.
