Deb Silver Split Shed Weaving

Winter Workshop

Check out our progress on the slides at the left.

Day 1 – we’re getting the hang of weaving 2 structures at once.

Day 2 – learning how to use multiple threads to create shading.

Day 3 – honing our expertise… now we get it!

This was a fantastic workshop. Thanks to Deb Silver for an amazing journey.

a message from our president

Welcome to Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild, a vibrant organization dedicated to fostering and supporting weaving and other fiber related arts. We offer meetings, programs, exhibits, workshops, classes, and demonstrations at community events.

After over two years of virtual meetings due to the pandemic we are thrilled to finally be resuming in-person meetings! Much has changed over the past two years, including a major renovation to room 1, the loom room where most of our classes are held. The next step of our planned changes will be to install technology to allow for virtual as well as in-person attendance at meetings and workshops. Stay tuned for more information.
Our meetings are held each month except for July, August and December and visitors are always welcome to attend. Check our web calendar for meeting information.

Check us out on FaceBook and Instagram!
