Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild

2021 COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

Due to changing conditions and to meet government mandates,
Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild reserves the right to modify these safety guidelines at any time.

These guidelines are in effect as of this date:

August 9, 2021

  • Vaccination: It is strongly advised that you only attend in-person classes, meetings, or events if you have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and are at least 2 weeks past your final vaccination dose.
  • Masks: Effective Monday, August 9, 2021, the City of Dunwoody is requiring that all patrons, employees, and visitors wear a face mask when visiting or using City facilities. Masks are mandatory regardless of vaccination status. In general, you are not required to wear a face mask when in outdoor settings within the City. It is permissible for you to briefly remove masks to eat or drink, provided common-sense safety protocols are observed.
  • Sanitation Procedures: CHG will provide hand sanitizer in each room used for classes, meetings or events sponsored by the Guild. CHG will clean and sanitize hard surfaces such as tabletops and doorknobs after each class, meeting, or event. Please be aware that we are not able to sanitize wooden looms and wooden equipment without risk of damage from the strong chemicals. Students understand that use of looms and shared equipment is at their own risk.
  • Waiver and Release: All students will need to sign a Waiver and Release form provided by the Guild prior to the start of the first class.  Please click here to view the general guidelines for classes and to view the Waiver and Release form.
  • If you or anyone in your home is feeling sick with any symptoms whatsoever, please stay home.
  • If you or anyone in your home knows of recent exposure to a person or persons who have tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home. Remember that symptoms generally appear 2-14 days after exposure and some individuals with COVID-19 may be asymptomatic.
