Description
Have you taken a class but are hesitant to try a project on your own? Are you unsure of the steps to wind a warp, dress the loom and plan your project? Maybe you lack the confidence to do it on your own. Then this 1-day class is for you. We will go over the basics of winding a warp, dressing the loom (back to front only in this class), planning your project, and answer any questions you might have. This is predominately a hands on/interactive class where you will be winding at least 2 warps and learning the steps to dressing the loom.
Our goal is to help you overcome your fear of doing it on your own because you are afraid it might not come out as you envisioned and feel that you have wasted your time, yarn, and money. Your loom is meant to be dressed and used and become your friend! Time permitting, we will be discussing, yarn selection, reed size and EPD (ends per dent), appropriate yarns and understanding drafts.
Prerequisite: Some weaving experience
