You can read a draft, now learn how each component of the draft works together. With graph paper and pencil, we will begin to work through the basic threadings of twill, the largest family of weave structures. Lecture and drafting exercises will be used to help understand the role that tie-up and treadling plays. Computer software will be introduced. Experience the excitement of creating your own designs on 4 or more shafts. Class time will be off loom.   Class meets on two Thursday mornings.
