Description
There are many facets to weaving, one of them being learning to sew in order to have different ways to finish all of your woven products.
We will first learn how to hand finish items with just a needle and thread. Then we will learn how to do some basic sewing techniques on a sewing machine. You may bring your own machine or we will have a few machines available to use in class.
If you have some unfinished woven items, please bring those. The instructor will also have a few items for practicing your sewing techniques. Seam allowances and spacing for separating, cutting and sewing several items on one warp will also be taught.
