Think these are your grandma’s potholders? Think again.

Join us for this fun, hands-on 4-week Saturday class and discover how beautiful, durable, and incredibly useful woven potholders can be. These aren’t just practical—they make wonderful handmade gifts for the holidays and are true workhorses in the kitchen.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Read and understand a weaving draft
  • Master the basics of potholder weaving
  • Build intermediate skills and techniques (such as split loops, twills, and shadow weave.)
  • Complete advanced projects in the final class (such as double weave)
  • Leave with approximately 8-12 beautiful potholders to use, keep, or give as gifts

Perfect for Beginners & Returning Weavers!

Whether you’re weaving your very first potholder or coming back for more, this class has something for you. Beginners will learn the fundamentals with confidence, while experienced potholder makers will explore more advanced techniques and creative projects to expand their skills.

Ages: This class is open to students ages 13 and older.  Students under 13 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.  If the accompanying parent would like to weave their own potholders, they must also register for the class and pay the class and supply fees.
