Description
Looking for a fun, creative way to welcome the fall season?
Join the Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild for our Halloween Potholder Workshop and discover just how much fun weaving can be!
Whether you’ve never woven before or you’re looking for a relaxing afternoon of fiber arts, this hands-on class is the perfect way to create something both beautiful and useful.
What You’ll Learn:
- The basics of plain weave
- An intermediate weaving technique that adds texture and visual interest
- How to create and finish your own handmade potholders
You’ll leave with at least two handmade Halloween potholders—and many students will complete even more! They’re perfect for decorating your kitchen, using throughout the season, or giving as thoughtful handmade gifts.
Ages: This class is open to students ages 13 and older. Students under 13 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. If the accompanying parent would like to weave their own potholders, they must also register for the class and pay the class and supply fees.
No experience is necessary—we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
Gather a friend, bring a family member, or come meet fellow fiber enthusiasts for a fun afternoon of creativity, learning, and handmade Halloween décor.
