This is a three-session class that will concentrate on Inlay projects – finger manipulated and pickup techniques. Inlay involves using a supplementary weft along with a ground weft (plain weave tabby). Students will be able to choose whether you want to do a particular project or a sampler of techniques. For this class, it is better to do a sampler because there are quite a few techniques that we will be looking at. Students may also do independent projects; instruction will be available.

While we will study Overshot in the winter 2022 class term, there is a new book for rigid heddle weaving called CrazyShot that uses pickup sticks/inlay for the weave structure.
