Lauren Henderson
Bio:
Lauren Henderson is a Georgia-based textile artist, focused primarily on sewing and weaving since 2021. Having originally discovered an interest in textiles from costuming, her art has shifted to primarily take a self-focused inspiration, both in expressing her lived experiences and her interest in technology stemming from a computer science background. Her works aim to use common materials such as fabric to turn such experiences and interests into something approachable and tangible for others via the tactile and everyday nature of the materials.
